Thanks to all who made TRP Christian Bookstore ECT Grand Opening a HUGE Success!!!
TRP's Grand Opening was a huge success as the Buckeye Community and others from Phoenix came out to help celebrate the Bookstore's first day of business. According to historical records, there has not been a bookstore in the Buckeye area in 18 years. The other amazing fact is that there has NEVER been a Christian Bookstore in the thriving town of approximately 50,000 residents. These facts come as no surprise to the Founder and Operator Minister Tonya Reed, for God told her that He would do a "New thing" through her.
Many family and friends were onsite to help celebrate the joyous occasion as well as her Bishop, Dr. Alonzo Steele, D.D (cutting the ribbon) and First Lady Stella Steele of Rhema Christian Center. Also joining the festivities were Minister Tonya's dear friends, Pastor James and First Lady Felicia Mackey III of Abundant Life Living Christian Center in South Phoenix. Tonya's long time friend and recording artist Larry Brown set the atmosphere as he rendered an A and B selection before brunch was served. Also on site were 5 Authors (3 published by Tonya Reed Publications) for book signing. Buckeye Chamber of Commerce along with several host and friends made June 27th, 2009 a momental occasion that will never be forgotten.
